Employment Court Form
Courage v Attorney-General 2022 (EMPC 363/2021)
The Employment Court ruled on 10th May 2022 that three ex-members of Gloriavale were deemed to be employees from 6 years of age, and including their years as Associate Partners. Other males who fit a similar set of circumstances may benefit from this ruling. (ie those males who worked at Springbank or Gloriavale anytime between the age of six years until eighteen years of age or until they signed the Commitment Vow, in a role that could be described as involuntary and for commercial gain.)
For those who are interested in knowing how this may impact them, the plaintiffs’ lawyer Brian Henry is offering to initially act as an agent for dealings with the Labour Inspectorate.
