Gloriavale teacher allegedly assaulted four children aged 9 to 11: Stuff

A Gloriavale teacher has been charged after allegedly assaulting four children in as many years.

Vigilant Standtrue is facing seven charges of assaulting children.

He made his first appearance in the Greymouth District Court on August 11 and did not seek name suppression.

The 39-year-old still lives in the West Coast religious community at Lake Haupiri.
